Spreading dental health through social partners

We started a “Dental Health Workshop For the Elderly”. This is targeted at care-givers, and the first workshop was held at the Home Nursing Foundation at the Headquarters in Toa Payoh 0n 8 October 2015.

We conducted a free dental screening on 6th August 2017 at PGP Hall, Perumal Temple. It was conducted together with BMI, Glucose check, eye screening and blood donation drive.

We took part in the World Pneumonia Day in collaboration with The Good Life Co-op. This dental screening was held on 26th November 2017, 9am-12noon, at Bukit Batok Sports Hub.

This dental screening was successfully concluded over 2-4 March 2018. We did dental screening for kids, and useful information were given out to parents regarding children’s dental issues.

A dental screening was done at the Teck Ghee Health Fair and Vaccination Day, held on 7th April 2018, at Blk 309B, Ang Mo Kio Ave 1, Zone L RC.

We’ve just concluded another dental screening at Toa Payoh East Community Centre Multipurpose Hall.It was jointly organised by SDHF, Mt Alvernia and Toa Payoh CC; supported by GSK Sensodyne.

We conducted another dental screening, the Potong Pasir Kampong Carnival 2018, at Agape Village on 14 Oct 2018.Thank you to all the volunteers and organisers!

Another dental screening was conducted at Lucky Plaza on 10th March 2019.Thank you to all the volunteers who helped out, and to all the organizers!

SDHF worked together with Mt. Alvernia Community outreach to do a dental screening at the (CDE) Centre for Domestic Employees on 8 June 2019.

We conducted a dental screening for persons with disabilities at Lengkok Bahru (Mount Alvernia Outreach Medical Clinic) on 14 September 2019, 9am – 12.30pm.
